Nedra ~ performer, teacher & executive director
WNY Bellydance Association, Troupe Mystique
Nedra has been studying dance, sports physiology and yoga over the past twenty years. She continues to study bellydance, Kundalini, Ashtanga, Vinyasa flow & Hatha yoga with some of the foremost teachers in these fields.
She brings her passion for learning into the dance experience for her students. Nedra's philosophy is one of welcoming and encouragement for new students, creating an atmosphere that is comfortable for both the beginner and advanced student.
Well-known in the WNY dance community, Nedra also works to provide communication channels & community projects among teachers, students and area dance studios. She has as a personal mission reaching out to women who have experienced personal suffering.
Nedra is currently working on several projects involving the media, her proudest effort is her Arabian Nights Performance DVD which will be released in 2007. She has made several guest appearances on such programs as the Greg Sterlace Show. She continues to work on film projects with Sal Monaco & Company and will be featured in the trailer for upcoming film Buffalo Gals at the Market Arcade film premiere of Sweet Jesus in May of 2006. She continues to contribute to various written & broadcast publications.
